Support - Posting Guide

General

  • Posts are processed from top to bottom following the schedule you set in the dashboard.
  • Please don't add new tabs, new columns, remove columns, or change their names as it can compromise the functionality of Postiplier.

StatusRead-only column

The Status column is reserved for Postiplier to read and write statuses. Please don't edit it as it can compromise your posting schedule.

Possible statuses are:

  • Posted: The post has been posted.
  • Failed: The post has failed. A notification will be sent to you if this happens.
  • Skipped: The post has been skipped. Please refer to . Remember: you must not edit the Status column manually. If you type "Skipped" manually, it will mess with your schedule.

Expected TimeRead-only column

  • This column shows the forecasted time for each post based on the schedule you set in the dashboard. It is a read-only column updated by Postiplier.
  • This column is synced every time you activate a channel or update the schedule in the dashboard.
  • It can take up to 1 minute for the changes to be reflected in the sheet after you make changes in the dashboard.
  • If you need to skip a time slot, simply leave the corresponding row blank.

MediaEditable column

  • Postiplier supports images and videos from Google Drive and from Example: https://www.aws.s3.com/video.mp4direct URLs.
  • When posting from Google Drive you need to follow these 2 steps below:

1. Getting a Media from Google Drive

Option A (recommended): Using @

If you are the Google Drive owner of the video/image, type @ followed by the name of the file in the Media column and select it from the dropdown. If the file doesn't appear, you are probably not the owner (then you can use option B below).

Option B: Copying the file URL

Each Google Drive file has a unique URL. Right-click the file and click "Share" > "Copy link", then paste it in the Media column.

2. Granting Access to Postiplier

  • Make the file public or share it with [email protected]Copy.
  • You can also share a folder so you don't need to share each file individually.
  • Note that this step is required regardless of the option you chose above.

After you conclude the steps above, Postiplier will be able to access the shared file (or files in the folder) and start posting.

Formats and Sizes

  • Images: jpg, jpeg, png, webp, heic and heif. Max image size: 20MB.
  • Videos: mp4, mov. Max video size: 1GB.

Carousels (multiple media)

To post a carousel, you have two options:

  1. Input multiple media URLs separated by commas, semicolons or spaces
  2. Input a Google Drive folder URL. Postiplier will automatically extract the media URLs from the folder (ordered alphabetically)

Note that:

  • Only images are allowed in carousels
  • Carousels support up to 10 images
  • Only TikTok and Instagram support carousels
